Automotive & Machinery Trading Center (AMTC) was established in 1956, by the founder Mr. Abu Bakr Omar Bazara, a business pioneers with distinct vision, who is highly regarded among Yemeni people. AMTC is one of the branches of the old Bazara company in Aden, which was involved in timber and foodstuff for more than two decades. During the 50s-60's of 20th century, the family witnessed the transformation of the company to import harvesting machines and trucks from the United States, and cars Skoda from Czechoslovakia, known today as Czech Republic. With great forward looking, AMTC continued to grow under the leadership of Mr. Bazara, who imported the first Land Cruiser (PJ model) into the port of Aden in 1956. The company continued to build its network of showrooms all over the country and as of 2019, AMTC network covers all main cities in Yemen and plans to set up more branches and customer service centers to better serve its clients. Other business lines complementary to automobiles such as lubricants and accessories have been added as well as Yanmar marine engines from Japan. In addition, AMTC ventured in new areas such as banking, insurance, steel and gases manufacturing, education, fisheries etc.
