Automotive and Machinery Trading center was established in the year 1956, by Mr. Abobaker Omer Bazara, a visionary and pioneering entrepreneur, who is very popular among Yemenis. AMTC is the subsidiary of the old Bazara business in Aden, who were in the business of Timber and Food business for over 200 years till the 1950’s and 60's, when the company branched out into importing Harvesters and Trucks from the USA and Skoda cars from Czechoslovakia, which is now Czech Republic.
