 ( Involved in the fight against corruption )

Yemeni group for transparency conducted , in partnership with  Yemeni Business Club (Businesswomen Unit ) a workshop of  ( the involvement of businesswomen in the anti-corruption efforts ) , on Monday, 31of March 2014, in Sana’a .

 Ms. Afrah Malek ( the  Advisory Board Member of  Business women Unit ) in Yemeni Business Club spoke in the opening of this workshopabout the role that can be played by Yemeni businesswomen in the fight against corruption also she  put a brief introduction about the Businesswomen Unit in Yemeni business Club.

The workshop included sessions on the set :

Introduction of corruption , and a brief summary about the international laws by Yemeni Team for transparency .

It also presented a working paper entitled ( The risk of corruption in the business sector ) provided by Ms. Zainab Al- Haimi , responsible of Businesswomen Unit in Yemeni Business Club . That  said  (the risk of corruption is not limited impact on the direct victim, but also extends to many aspects of the various sectors, also the biggest risk is the efflux Local and foreign investors' reluctance to enter into the local market and the failure of existing projects.

And Ms. Najwa Numan Member of  Business Women Unit in Yemeni Business Club presented a working paper entitled ( The role of businesswomen in the fight against corruption ) focused on the importance of the bloc to the ladies in the entities through which they can effectively deal with corruption in the business environment.

 It was a review of the experiences of women in the face of corruption in the Business Sector .

And held working groups to come out with recommendations to combat corruption in the Business Sector .

The workshop was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Mr. Salem Mohammed Salman, and representatives of the Yemeni Team for Transparency.

The workshop was attended by many businesswomen from Sanaa, Taiz, Aden and Hodeidah ..
