Global Entrepreneurship Week 2020 in Business Support Center in Yemen(BSC)

The Business Support Center (BSC) - one of the Yemeni Business Club (YBC) Projects - finished the implementation of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2020 with a wide range of activities that aimed to support and Highlight on the entrepreneurs who own existing projects and the talented people and companies through the followed events. First, launching platform and the map of the week in addition to business to business sessions between businessmen and women and entrepreneurs for 20 participants. Second the platform for launching new projects for 9 startups. Third the Annual Entrepreneurship Summit with the relevant parties, including representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce, Sana'a Chamber, microfinance institutions, and local and international organizations.

Fourth, a daily live broadcast of 6 specialized webinars was held through the Zoom program on the most important topics related to entrepreneurship of businessmen and women and presented pioneering success stories from various disciplines. Fifth, raising awareness about the entrepreneurship in schools and universities, which targeted more than 560 students in various colleges and classes.

Sixth, Expo Rial Exhibition was held on Wednesday and Thursday 18-19, November 2020 in several fields including (Technology, Coffee and Honey, Products and Services, Gifts and Handicrafts and Decoration, Small and Medium Companies, and Microfinance Institutions) where the number of participants reached 70 parties and individuals from entrepreneurs and talents, small and medium-sized companies and financing institutions who benefited from the exhibition. The number of visitors was more than 3,200 from relevant parties and representatives of the government side, the private sector, micro-finance institutions and local and international organizations working with entrepreneurship, in addition to those interested in entrepreneurship.
