Yemeni businessmen Club hosted Dr. Hany Al Banna, President of the Global Humanitarian Forum and the founder of the International Islamic Relief Organization. At the meeting in which he was joined by a group of businessmen, Dr. Hani Al-Banna emphasized on the need to shift charitable work into a professional industry that has its foundations and principles, away from the common superficial work today.He also stressed the need for diligence and developing charitable work particularly with regard to Zakat and its ways of spending, endowments and ways to benefit the community. He also pointed out that the role of the media is important in education and awareness and the awakening of the society praising the successful experiences in the Muslim world in the field of philanthropy as Egyptian food bank and the bank of cladding and others.Stressing that businessmen must have their national project that makes a change in the society and solves many social problems. The meeting was attended by Mr. Yousef Al Kurimi Secretary General of the club and Mr. Ahmed Jumaan Assistant Secretary and a number of businessmen and businesswomen.
