On Saturday, February sixth, 2013 The Yemeni Businessmen Club ( YBC ) received Mr. Saed Al-Hebshi and Mr. Razli Ramli who represent IBFIM ( Islamic Banking and Finance Institute of Malaysia) , an enterprise specializing in Islamic banking and insurance, which is part of the Central Bank of Malaysia.The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Juma'an, the deputy secretary general of YBC, and Mr. Ahmed Bazara'ah, the head of Consulting Authority of YBC, and a number of YBC's consultants and members.IBFIM's representatives mentioned the Malaysian 30 years successful experiment in the field of Islamic banking & finance and discussed with the attendees the possibilities of working together to improve the Yemeni Islamic banking and finance system benefiting from the Malaysian Successful experiments. IBFIM's representatives also expressed about the honest will of the Central Bank of Malaysia to collaborate with the Central Bank of Yemen. All attendeesemphasizedon the importanceofspreadingawareness amongleadersin the banking sectorby by arranging specialized workshopsand conferencesaswellastoconductjointresearchbetweentheMalaysianandYemenisides.
