The meeting of the club's board with the Commercial Counselor of Austria in Riyadh

The Yemeni Businessmen Club received at its residence on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2012 Mr. Pierre Pronies, the Commercial Counselor at the Austrian Embassy in the Saudi capital Riyadh.

 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the ways to enhance business relations between Yemen and Austria by organizing several joint business activities and promote networking among peer companies in the two countries.


Mr.  Pierre Pronis called the club to participate in the Austrian commercial mission that visits the Kingdom annually, adding that Austrian economy relies on exports and 85% of Austrian companies are considered small and medium-sized. Mr. Pierre Peronies clarified that the state of Austria would like to expand its business activities in the Middle East in general and Yemen in particular.


For his part, Mr. / Mohamed Murad, the board member, gave a presentation about the nature of the work of the club, its structure and its members.


Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Jumaan,  Assistant Secretary-General of the club and a member of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Investment, gave a clear picture about the General Investment Authority in particular and investment situation in Yemen in general, pointing to significant improvements after the events of the past year.


 The meeting was attended by Dr. / Abdul-Hamid Al-Ghazali, a member of the Board of Directors and Dr.  Mohammed Al-Ghazali and Mr. / Ahmed Abdul Jalil Radman.
