YIoD symposium on Family Governance

In a step toward enhancing YBC’s effort in Family Business Governance, the Yemeni Institute of Directors  YIoD in cooperation with IFC organized a symposium titled “ The impact of Governance on Enhancing the Performance of Family Businesses” at the headquarters of the World Bank WB in Sana’a Saturday afternoon, April 16th, 2014.
 The symposium, attended by a number of businessmen and businesswomen, aimed at defining the important role of governance in the continuity of the family business and its success and development in light of the current economic challenges.

Dr. Dawoodd Alhaddabi,  Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Yemeni Institute for Directors YIoD, welcomed the regional  speakers who are experts in corporate governance –Dr. Amira El Saeed,  Dr. Mohamed Radwan, and

Yassin El-Shathely .  The audience liked the session "You Ask and the Experts A nswer"  due to the importance of the topics discussed.
