The first conference of the family companies was held in the period between 21-February 22, 2007 under the slogan "coherence ... Continuity ... . Growth "and under the aegis of his Excellency the Prime Minister Professor / Abdulkadir AbdulRahman Bajamal, organized by the Club of Yemeni businessmen and the Center of private International Projects (CIPE), and the support of a number of Yemeni Companies and institutions. The talk centered at the Conference on organizational structures and the transfer of power between generations and management arguments and corporate governance family in addition to the constraints of family businesses continues.
The Conference has been characterized by the presence of an active Yemeni businessmen and businesswomen of all Yemeni governorates of the republic attended by specialists in addition to having expertise in the family companies of each of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman
