إن الشركات العائلية تمثل ما تفوق نسبته 95% من الشركات في العالم العربي وقد تزداد هذه النسبة في اليمن لقلة عدد شركات المساهمة العامة لعدم توفر الوسط المناسب لتداول أسهمها والذي يشجع قيام مثل هذه الكيانات.  وربما الطريف في الأمر أن مصطلح الشركات العائلية هو الجديد أما الشركات التي يمتلكها أشخاص ويديرها بصورة مشتركة من نفس الأسرة أولاد و إخوة وأصهار هي نفسها الشركات العائلية موضوع مؤتمرنا هذا.

 

إن هذه الشركات بطبيعة الحال لها من الخصوصية ما لايوجد في غيرها، ولها من المشاكل إن صح التعبير مالا ينطبق على سواها.  فقضاياها ومشاكلها له أثر كبير على المجتمع وكثير ما سمعنا عن بيوت تجارية كبيرة كان لها أثر واضح وملموس في حياة كثير من الناس، لم تعد موجودة اليوم، ولو بحثنا عن الأسباب، لتبين لنا إما أن تكون قد إنتهت بسبب غياب المؤسس أو لخلافات عائلية عصفت بها وأدت إلى إنتهائها أو تفكيكها إلى كيانات صغيرة

التوصيات

  The recommendations of the first conference of family companies in Yemen   21 - 22 February, 2007  The first conference of the family companies was held in the period between 21-February 22, 2007 under the slogan "coherence ... Continuity ... . Growth "and under the aegis of his Excellency the Prime Minister Professor / Abdulkadir AbdulRahman Bajamal, organized by the Club of Yemeni businessmen and the Center of private  International Projects (CIPE), and the support of a number of Yemeni Companies and institutions. The talk centered at the Conference on organizational structures and the transfer of power between generations and management arguments and corporate governance family in addition to the constraints of family businesses continues.  The Conference has been characterized by the presence of an active Yemeni businessmen and businesswomen of all Yemeni governorates of the republic attended by specialists in addition to having expertise in the family companies of each of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman         Through the dialogue on the conference, the attendees on the follow :1. - Emphasis on institutionalizing corporate family and the preparation constitutions family and the laws and regulations that governing them. 2. - Adoption of the rules of corporate governance in the management of family 3. - Interest in the application of the quality system in the family companies so that companies to competition in the era of globalization.4. - To emphasize the separation between the ownership and administration of executive corporate family. 5. - Emphasis on training of the future generations and able to borne the responsibility after the current generation in the family companies and develop a system for the transfer of power. 6. - built on the base "the strong and the secretary person" in the use of the skills and experience from outside the family and gain their loyalty to the family companies  7. - Attention to the promotion of moral values derived from Islamic culture to future generations contribution to the coherence and continuity of family companies. 8. - Take advantage of the family unit companies unit in the Club businessmen to provide counseling and training for family firms in this aspect. 9. - Interest in scientific research and development in the area of family companies, in order to benefit from the diagnosis of reality and its development.
